Wilmer Jiminez earned an Associate's Degree in Arts in Humanities and Social Science from Cayuga Community College in 2016. At the same time, he was working for CITI, a Migrant Education program. He then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Wellness Management from State University at SUNY Oswego. While at SUNY Oswego, he worked as a Homeless Outreach and Youth Specialist with Oswego County Opportunities. He accepted a position as Health and Wellness Coordinator for the Spanish Action League of Onondaga County after graduating from SUNY Oswego in 2018. While with the Spanish Action League, he successfully created, planned, and implemented a domestic violence program and a few health projects. A year later, he accepted the position of Associate Regional Coordinator for Rural & Migrant Ministry, Inc. In 2022, Wilmer was offered and promoted to Regional Coordinator for the Western New York office while also finishing a Master's Program in Applied Clinical Nutrition at North East College at Seneca Falls.
