Community-Wide Climate Events Calendar
Do you have a community event you want us to share?
We love amplifying community events that are open to the public and climate-related. Submitting the form helps us track and potentially amplify events, but it does not guarantee your event will be added to this Events page.
*Events listed here are Climate Solutions Accelerator-hosted events (program sessions, trainings, convenings, and Accelerator-led public events).
Here’s where to share your event for community visibility:
Post it in our TownSquare Channel (on Slack): Share your event so members can see it right away. Join here!
Share your social media post with us (for Stories): Send us the link to your social post (or graphic), and we may feature it in our Stories.
Color Your Community Green Events
If your event is part of Color Your Community Green, please add it to our public Google Calendar (community-wide climate events calendar).
How the community-wide climate events calendar works:
The community-wide climate events calendar is a consolidated Google Calendar that combines calendars from multiple organizations. Organizations that want their events included share their Google Calendar with the Accelerator, and then their events appear on the consolidated calendar automatically.
Option 1 (recommended): Your organization has its own Google Calendar
If you already have a Google Calendar for your community events:
Share your calendar with brady@climategfl.org (so it can be included in the consolidated calendar).
Keep posting events to your own calendar as usual.
Those events will show up in the community-wide calendar once connected.
Option 2: Your organization does NOT have a Google Calendar yet (create one)
Create an organization event calendar (quick steps):
Go to Google Calendar and sign in.
Click + next to “Other calendars” → Create new calendar
Name it (ex: “Organization Name | Events”) → Create calendar
Go to Settings & sharing and share the calendar with brady@climategfl.org.
Start adding events to your new calendar.
Important note: Creating a calendar does not automatically put events onto the community-wide calendar — the calendar must be shared and connected first.*
