Since the Fall of 2021, I have composted 618 pounds of food waste! Instead of throwing things like coffee filters, tea bags, orange peels, and the bottoms of celery into the trash, I put them in my compost bin.

Thanks to the Sustainable Homes Rochester/HeatSmart Monroe initiatives, I learned how "game changing" geothermal heating and cooling could be for my family, and for my planet!
