“…I recognize that AI is a very impressive form of technology that can certainly be used to do helpful, prosocial things, so there’s no need for us to debate that point. My concern is that if the current race to develop and deploy AI continues unchecked (i.e., without appropriate oversight, regulation and probably taxation), the resulting harms of AI will far outweigh the good it can do.”
