Climate Week is
September 20-26th!
We don’t deny that the challenges ahead are big. Given the urgency and complexity of climate change, the Climate Solutions Accelerator is firmly committed to ensuring everyone in our 9-county region has opportunities to participate in and benefit from positive climate action. It’s a huge task!
The good news is: we don’t do this work alone. This month we’ll share stories highlighting people from our communities working toward a thriving and healthier region for us all. Some people do this by making changes in their own homes and neighborhoods. Some people get involved at the community level by advocating for policy change or educating others.
No matter what level of involvement works for you, it starts with local action! Join us in being powered by community. Together, we can build a healthier, more equitable region by addressing climate change on the local level – today and for the future.
How can you celebrate Climate Week?
Give. Support our work. If you give during Climate Week, your donation can go twice as far! Local organizations have raised their hand, invested in our community, and are matching gifts made in celebration of Climate Week.
Connect with Community. There are many opportunities for you to connect with others in your community or learn about climate policy and advocacy work.
