The future of our region will be shaped by the choices we make together.
Across the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region, people of all ages are asking important questions about how we live, work, care for one another, use resources, strengthen our communities, and protect the places we call home. We may not all see those questions the same way, and that is exactly why coming together matters.
The 2027 Climate Solutions Summit invites people across generations, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to explore what a healthier, more connected, and more regenerative future could look like—and what it will take to get there.
Under the theme Redefining Cool, we’ll examine the values, systems, habits, and cultural ideas that influence what we admire, reward, normalize, and pass on to the next generation. Rather than assuming any one person or group has all the answers, the Summit creates space to listen, question, learn from one another, and imagine new possibilities together.
Join us April 2–3, 2027 for two days of conversation, creativity, learning, and intergenerational collaboration centered on our region and the role each of us can play in shaping it.
Day One, for ages 18-110, will give adult participants space to explore these ideas and prepare for meaningful intergenerational conversation.
Day Two, for ages 10-110, will bring generations together to share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and develop a collective vision for the kind of region we want to help create.
Together, we can redefine what is worth aspiring to—and build a future where people, communities, and the natural world can thrive.
