Sue Staropoli serves as a leader in the Pachamama Alliance of the Rochester Area (PARA) community. The PA mission is to help create an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet.

Sue has embraced the indigenous worldview of the interconnectedness of all life. She describes herself as a “contemplative activist” and global citizen, working within community, in collaboration with many other organizations, to share the PA vision of a better world to leave to her 6 children, 11 grandchildren and all life – for generations to come.

As part of her PARA leadership she has convened a monthly Exploring White Supremacy and Indigenous Allyship group since 2020.

To this work Sue brings her education and experience as a consultant and educator in the fields of chemical dependency counseling, spirituality and holistic health, integrating body, mind and spirit.

She is deeply grateful to her husband of 60 years, Frank, who supports her as she follows this call to full engagement in the world.
