Yvonne is Principal and co-founder of Seneca Lake Guardian, a Waterkeeper Affiliate dedicated to protecting the Finger Lakes for future generations. With a deep connection to Seneca Lake through her early work in the region's agri-tourism industry and her family’s love of the area, Yvonne has long fought to safeguard its natural beauty and economic vitality. She played a pivotal role in defeating plans to store fracked gas on Seneca Lake and continues to lead efforts against a massive waste company's push to expand the Seneca Meadows landfill. Yvonne lives on the east side of Seneca Lake and works as a Speech-Language Therapist with at-risk adolescents, with an early work history in the Finger Lakes agri-tourism industry in wineries, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, and on sailing charters on Seneca Lakeholds.
