Patty is a Certified Permaculture Teacher and Designer living and working in the traditional Hodinöšyö:nih Homelands in the Genesee River Valley now known as Rochester, NY.  She practices and teaches regenerative design, permaculture, food forest gardening, homesteading and social permaculture in her community and to a global audience.  Her work is informed by her education, exploration, time in nature, dirt time, parenting, and spiritual pursuits.  She holds two Permaculture Design Certificates and a Permaculture Teaching Certificate, in addition to traditional BS and MALS Degrees. Patty is the founder of Barefoot Edible Landscape & Permaculture, sometimes known as Barefoot Ecological Design.  Her personal mission is gathering and sharing resources and information that regenerate abundant existence and vibrant well-being for all beings.
