George McConochie co-founded GreenSpark Solar in 2002 and was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2008. As COO, George has led the company to achieve #1 on the Rochester Chamber's Fastest Growing Business list in both 2023 and 2017, and the Democrat & Chronicle's Top Workplaces list for six consecutive years. George is responsible for increasing GreenSpark's employment by 70% since the company started and has had less than 2% employee turnover since 2019. He has contributed to GreenSpark becoming a Certified B Corporation in 2015, proving our sincere commitment to our employees, customers, community, and the planet. Over time, GreenSpark has grown by more than 1000%.
