Greg Nelson is a former computer engineer who retired early to focus on community resilience and food sovereignty. He has been teaching DIY skills including small-scale reclaimed solar, rainwater harvesting, and grid-independent communications systems. He is currently on the Board of Advisors for otherWise, an organization that helps connect people in envisioning constructive responses to the crises of our time, and works on these topics in Tompkins County with the Adaptation and Resilience Catalysts and Danby Resilience groups.
