Color Your School Green is hosting a webinar at the end of the month, "Understanding Climate Emotions in Children and Supporting Them With Tools and Community Resources."  Wednesday, May 27th from 3:30-4:30.

This webinar is being led by Dr. Emma Nelson and Dr. Christine Steerman, both professional therapists. Starting in 2027, NYS is requiring climate education as a graduation requirement. The goal of this webinar is to help school districts prepare their teachers to be sensitive to the complex emotions that students will be experiencing during those lessons and perhaps in their daily lives as well as giving them basic tools to support their students.
