New Yorkers need affordable, reliable energy solutions NOW—not decades from now. As families across the state struggle with rising utility bills, New York is considering spending billions of public dollars on nuclear reactors that won’t generate electricity for at least a decade. Investments should prioritize renewable energy solutions that can be deployed sooner, reduce costs, and move our state toward a cleaner, more equitable energy future.
We’re joining climate and environmental justice advocates from across New York in Rochester to send a clear message: Invest in renewables, not nuclear.
Join us as we discuss what’s at stake for New Yorkers, our energy bills, and our climate—and why the choices we make today matter for our future. Our energy future should be affordable, renewable, and built for the people of New York.
