Lynn Saxton

Lynn Saxton is a retired High School Social Studies Teacher; her second act is environmental activism, fueled by concern for the future of her three grandchildren. The co-founder and Chair of the Climate Reality Project, Western New York Chapter, co-founder and Leadership Team member of the Climate Reality Project, Finger Lakes Chapter, Western New York Leader for the Sierra Club Media Team, and founder and Chair of Green Warsaw, Lynn has trained with Al Gore and served as a mentor at the New York City Climate Reality Training in 2024. Lynn tries to live her environmentalism with an all-electric home, geothermal heating and cooling, an induction stove, EV and solar panels.  In her spare time, she is the choir director for the United Church of Warsaw, an avid gardener, reader, and quilter.
