Sara Stockwell

Currently the Accounting and Human Resource Director at the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, Sara holds a B.S. in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Human Resource Management from SUNY Empire State College. She became active in local government as the Secretary for her local Planning and Zoning Boards. When word came that a large solar installation was being proposed for her town, she started a grassroots informational campaign to root out falsehoods about solar energy. She is a founding member of the Clean Energy Resources Information Committee which aims to help local leaders navigate through state and federal clean energy programs and grants. She brings a rural perspective of climate change and clean energy.
